Today was a bright, sunny day as we cycled 79.5 miles from Buffalo to Victor, New York. Despite some side headwinds and tailwinds, the journey was smooth and enjoyable. Our first stop was to take in the beautiful landscape, where we spotted a buffalo statue in a yard, clearly belonging to an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Our first SAG stop treated us to donuts, and we also saw some llamas along the way. At a local gas station, I met Roger Beil, a Vietnam veteran from Pavilion, New York. We initially chatted as I picked up some chocolate milk, and Roger returned just as we were leaving to ensure he got a picture with me after I had taken one of him. Meeting Roger was a special moment in the day.

We celebrated reaching 3,000 miles today! Our second SAG stop was in Avon, New York, rounding off another memorable day on this incredible journey.
