Today, we cycled 90 miles from Niles, Ohio to Erie, Pennsylvania under sunny skies. Our first SAG stop was at the White Turkey Diner in Conneaut, a quaint spot with outdoor picnic tables. I enjoyed a great turkey sandwich and a chocolate milkshake. How will I ever come down from all this food? The hills were relentless, but flags followed us along the way, a constant reminder of the journey’s purpose.

When we arrived at our beautiful hotel, the Courtyard Marriott, I was greeted by my daughter and her best friend from Columbus School for Girls. Tally, the daughter of Tanny Crane, who I am cycling with, was also there.

Yesterday, I was interviewed by WJET Erie, PA, and the segment will air tonight on ABC and FOX. Today, I am visiting the VA to speak with veterans and thank them for their service.
