Today, we completed our incredible journey by dipping our front wheels in the Atlantic Ocean and cycling the final 20 miles to Revere Beach. As we rode, we unanimously cheered, “From LA to Boston!” It was a powerful and emotional finish, celebrating the culmination of our cross-country adventure.

This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. I have witnessed the vast beauty of our country firsthand and met countless wonderful people who will forever hold a special place in my heart. To all who have followed my blog, I extend my deepest gratitude. Your support has meant the world to me.

I want to thank my husband, Jerry, for his unwavering love and support; my children, Ashley and Brady, who cheered me on every mile; my friends, Chris, Kathy, Alan, Regina, Jeff; my niece Katie, and my great nieces Sophie and Izzy. Special thanks to my VA family, especially Traci Washington from the Columbus VA office, whose support has been overwhelming.
I also want to thank my constant friend since 4th grade, Jenna, and her husband, Peter, for their unwavering support. Special thanks to Johnetta, whose encouragement has meant so much to me.

I am immensely proud of my ride, but even more so of the veterans I have met along the way. Their stories of bravery and resilience are a testament to the spirit of our nation. The VA needs our help, as there are many veterans quietly suffering. We can make a difference.
A heartfelt thank you to my brother, Bill Waters, an Air Force Vietnam veteran who was exposed to Agent Orange in Thailand. Despite his daily struggles with Parkinson’s disease, he remains positive and grateful for the opportunity to have served our country. He is a true hero.

I am blessed to have experienced this wonderful journey and will cherish these memories forever. With a grateful heart, I say thank you to everyone who has been a part of this incredible adventure.
