This morning, I had the privilege of meeting John Cox, a Vietnam veteran from the 1st Infantry who served in 1967-68. He was on his motorcycle, ready to see us off as I began the day’s ride. Our journey covered 86 miles under clear skies with temperatures in the mid-70s.

Our first SAG stop was at the beautiful Lake Seneca, where we took a moment to appreciate the serene views. We then stopped at a unique bridge known for its role in the musical “It’s A Wonderful Life.” The bridge’s railing is adorned with bells, adding a charming touch to our ride.

We continued cycling along the scenic Erie Canal, taking in the historical significance and beauty of this route.
