Today’s ride took us 98 miles from Marysville to Wooster, and it was a chilly one. With overcast skies and temperatures in the high 50s, my fingers were frozen, making it difficult to shift gears for the last 20 miles. The misting rain that welcomed us into Wooster added to the cold, making this one of the more challenging days of the journey.

Due to the weather, we didn’t take any side trips, focusing instead on reaching our destination. Along the way, we passed cattle, barns, horses, and unfortunately, some roadkill. The landscape, though shrouded in gray, still showcased the rural beauty of Ohio.

Despite the tough conditions, I pushed through with determination, motivated by the thought of warming up and continuing my mission to support veterans.

  2. So sorry your home state didn’t give you better weather conditions. It’s been so nice here recently but not today.

Not every ride can be in great conditions. Hopefully that dust storm in KS and this gray cold day in OH are it and from now on, the weather will be much more conductive to fun rides. How nice for that warm welcome. Pedal on!
