From Richmond, IN to Marysville, OH – A Warm Welcome and Inspiring Company

Today’s journey took us 105 miles from Richmond, IN to Marysville, OH. The weather was perfect with sunny skies and a gentle breeze, making for an enjoyable ride. We were joined by our friends Caroline and Leslie, who cycled 64 miles with us, adding an extra layer of camaraderie to the day.

Leaving Indiana and crossing into Ohio was a memorable experience. We passed several Amish buggies on their way to church, and the sight of hundreds of horse and buggies parked outside the church was a beautiful testament to their community spirit. We also cycled by a picturesque flower barn and a barn with a tractor and a sign commemorating 9/11, which served as a reminder of our mission to support veterans.

As we arrived at our hotel in Marysville, we were greeted with a tremendous welcome from friends, family, and several representatives from the Ohio Department of Veterans Affairs, including Traci Washington from the Columbus VA. The support and enthusiasm from everyone were incredibly heartwarming and motivating.
