And on the 8th day I rested.

My journey has been a rollercoaster of emotions, taking me through cities, deserts, and small towns. The people I have met have been a source of inspiration, their support for my mission of raising funds for PTSD and mental health has been incredible, each one offering their blessings. Cycling Across America, while physically demanding, has also provided moments of respite, allowing me to indulge in the luxury of eating at will 😄and a quiet time while cycling to marvel at the beauty of the outdoors. The sounds of birds, barking dogs, tractors, and the sight of families enjoying time together have brought a smile to my face. And as I pedal, I find solace in my thoughts, in my songs, and in my reflections on the privilege of living in a country where we, as Americans, can revel in our incredible life of freedom

  5. Barb, I feel like you’re having a similar journey to mine last years, just for a different cause. Enjoying reading your blog and about your interactions with the people you meet, which I found to be my greatest motivation over 3400 miles! Keep it up! You got this!
